The magician's assistant lies down in a slim cabinet. Her head is visible at one end of the cabinet, and her feet protrude from the other. Two large, solid blades are shown to the audience and are used to slice the assistant in half. The cabinet and table is then split in half, each half being shown all all sides. Doors in the front of each cabinet are opened to show the lady's arm and leg. All is reversed and she emerges from the cabinet unharmed to accept her applause.
